CONWAY – Caleb Everette Topping, 20, died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at UNC Cancer Hospital in Chapel Hill. He had valiantly fought Leukemia since January of 2014.

A native of Northampton County, Caleb was a graduate of Northeast Academy in Lasker where he played Football, Baseball and Basketball. He loved the outdoors and hunting and fishing, and he loved working with Phillip Ricks at Ashriel Farms. Caleb loved the Lord and stood strong on God’s Word throughout his illness and in spite of his circumstances, Caleb was always positive in his thinking and the way he lived.

Caleb’s survivors include his mother, Katherine Keller Wright and her husband, Duncan Wright of Kitty Hawk; father, Christopher Topping of Rich Square; and the love of his life, his fiancee’ and his “Princess”, Arielle Ricks of Conway.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Union Baptist Church, 431 Boone Farm Road, Ahoskie, NC 27910, with Pastor Greg Powell presiding. Anyone wishing to visit with the family can do so following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be shared with Union Baptist Church for their future Mission work.

Caleb’s family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at UNC Cancer Hospital who gave Caleb and his family such good care during his time with them.
