WASHINGTON, NC – The Reverend George Kenneth Pritchard passed away on the 15th of March 2016 at 9:45 pm at the age of 69.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Belinda Pritchard, their children: daughter Kim and son-in-law Alton Toler of Ft Drum, NY; daughter Melissa and son-in-law Chris Dunn of Clayton, NC; and grandchildren, Corey, Ainsley, Mary Addison and Luke.

Pastor Pritchard is the son of the late George and Ruby Pritchard of Ahoskie, NC and sisters Joanne McNall of Williamston, NC; Evelyn Eure of Edenton, NC; Jessie Ward of Plymouth, NC; Donna Burden of Ahoskie, NC and brother Ray Pritchard of Wilson, NC.

Rev. Pritchard received his Ministerial Studies from Berean School of the Bible in 1983 and was ordained by the Assemblies of God that same year. Pastor Kenneth served many churches during his career, his first in Lewiston, NC; Conway Assembly in Conway, NC; Belhaven Assembly of God, and retiring after 25 years of Faithful service at Washington Assembly of God. After his retirement, Kenneth continued to serve as a supply minister at several area churches and was an active member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.

Visiting hours will be at Washington Assembly of God, 2029 15th Street in Washington, NC on Friday, March 18th, between 7 pm and 8:30 pm. A service of celebration of Pastor Pritchard’s life will be held Saturday, March 19th at 11 am at Washington Assembly of God. Open Graveside burial will be held at Pamlico Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
