COURTLAND, VA – Minister Wilmer Lawrence Whitfield, 67, of Main Street, Courtland, VA died Monday, March 7, 2016 at Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin, VA. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at New Bethel Baptist Church, Boykins, VA. Burial will be in the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church cemetery, Boykins, VA.
