MURFREESBORO – Aldonia Holley Newsome, 89, of Murfreesboro, a native of Bertie County, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Parker’s Grove Baptist Church, Mapleton. Hunter’s Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, is handling the arrangements.
