AULANDER – Sandra Hall Lassiter Gagne, age 61, of Aulander, passed away on November 3, 2015 at the Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital of Ahoskie, NC.

Mrs. Gagne was born on January 19, 1954 to Claude Pete Hall and Elma Hurdle Rogerson in Bertie County, NC. Sandra spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies, known to them as Ma Ma and Gran Ma. She loved her golf cart rides and collecting angels of all types and sizes. Sandra was a member of Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a huge part of the card ministry of the church. She will be missed dearly by all those that knew her.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by the man she considered daddy, Monk Rogerson; her first husband, Anthony Lassiter; five brothers, Fred Hale, Pete Hall, Danny Hall, Ray Hall, and Kenny Hall; and step-son, Stephen Gagne.

Left to cherish Sandra’s memory is her loving husband Julien; two sons, Andy Lassiter and his wife Karen, and Corey Lassiter and his wife Suzie, both of Aulander; two granddaughters, Amanda and Caroline Lassiter of Aulander; two grandsons, Anthony and Cody Lassiter of Aulander; her sister, Claudette Harris of Hephzibah, GA; her brother, Jimmy Hall of Aulander; a step-daughter, Stephanie Gagne of Tampa Bay, FL, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015, from 11:00 am until 11:45 am at Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church, Aulander, NC with a celebration of life service to follow at 12 noon. The Rev. Taylor Latham will be officiating and burial will follow at Aulander Cemetery, Aulander, NC.
