AHOSKIE – Hezekiah Watford of Ahoskie, a native of Bertie County and a veteran of the U.S. Army, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Piney Wood Chapel Baptist Church, Powellsville, with the burial to follow in the Watford Family Cemetery.  Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
