WINDSOR – Bobby Lynn Jackson, 58, of 115 Rockpile Road, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at his home. He was born in Greenville, NC October 15, 1956 to the late Leon C. and Callie Jackson and was predeceased by a sister, Emma Smith; and three brothers, Almond Smith, David, and Thurman Jackson.
Bobby was a pipefitter by trade and member of United Outreach Ministries where he served as the first Deacon and head Deacon. He loved the Church and his family. His best buddy was his little brother, Larry.
Funeral services will be held Thursday April 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at United Outreach Ministries by Rev. J. R. Thomas. The burial will follow later in the afternoon at the Spell and Tyndall Family Cemetery located in Clinton, NC.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Ayers Jackson of the home; daughter, Stephanie Dawn Doughtie and husband Forrest of Ahoskie; sons, Bobby Leon Jackson and fiancée Yvonne Ward of Hamstead, and David Allen Doughtrey, Jr. and wife Megan of Colerain; sisters, Annette Hayes, Lucille Smith and husband Teddy and Katie Hedgepeth; brothers, Larry Jackson and wife Lorretta, and Billy Jackson, all of Clinton; and seven grandchildren.
