ANGIER – Hazel Harmon Francis, 92, of Angier, NC passed away February 22, 2015.

Mrs. Francis was born in Powellsville, NC to the late Lee Ander and Katie Harmon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Capt. Clyde Francis.

Hazel Francis had retired from Southern Bank in Lewiston, NC. She was a member of Connaritsa Baptist Church of Aulander, NC and served as Church Clerk for 34 years.

Hazel Francis is survived by her daughter, Betty F. Odom and husband Frank of Angier; her grandchildren, Sherri P. Arnao and husband Bob, and Jeff Odom; great-granddaughters Brittney Polky and Chelsie Gonzalez; and great-great grandsons Ayden and Eli. She has one sister, Carolyn H. Reynolds of Augusta, GA.

There was a graveside service held on Wednesday, February 25 at Ahoskie Cemetery, Ahoskie, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Connaritsa Baptist Church, P.O. Box 160, Aulander, NC 27805.
