HOBBSVILLE – Merle Blanchard Wright, 95, of NC Hwy 37 South, Hobbsville, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Chowan River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Edenton. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 15, 2015 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, who handled the arrangements. A private burial followed at the Warwick Baptist Church cemetery.
