MURFREESBORO – Mary Louise Hartless, age 80, of Murfreesboro, NC, passed away on November 3, 2014 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, NC. Mary was born March 25, 1934 in Norfolk, VA, the daughter of the late Clarence Linwood Addison and Sara Jane Balson Addison.

Survivors include her two sisters, Doris White and husband Buddy of Suffolk, VA, and Dorothy Laymon and husband Mark of Great Bridge, VA; her four children, Patricia Carter, Gilbert Lee Ivey, Sr., Geania Coggins and Alan Ivey; and her ten grandchildren, Jeremy Coggins, Jefferey Coggins, Joyce Coggins, Becky Alston, Lee Ivey, Jr., Joey Ivey, Michael Ewell, Charles Skenes, Johnny Wimbley and Brenda Wimbley.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Massey Funeral Home in Aulander, NC with the Rev. Roy Faison officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Murfreesboro, NC.
