WINTON – Charles Lendell Melton, 63, of Winton, a native of Gates County, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Valley Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Meherrin Native American Christian Church, Winton. Burial will be in the Boone Family Cemetery, Gates. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
