GASTON – Evelina Shearin, 56, of Gaston died Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Faithful Band Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. H.D. Pope Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, is handling the arrangements.
