AHOSKIE – Mr. Raymond Felton Liverman, age 84 of Ahoskie, died on July 9, 2014 at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital of Ahoskie, NC.

He was born on July 18, 1929 to Roy and Velna Liverman in Hertford County. Mr. Liverman was married to Minnie Flythe on October 4, 1948 and they enjoyed sixty-five years of marriage.  To this marriage was born two children.

Raymond worked as an equipment operator for NC Department of Transportation for thirty-five years, retiring in 1985. Following retirement he worked with his son at Liverman’s Automotive in Ahoskie, NC for five years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Velna Brown Liverman; father, Roy Felton Liverman; sisters, Beatrice Liverman Griffin and Louise Liverman Luke; and brothers, Levy Liverman, Coben J. Liverman, Everett G. Liverman and Merrill R. Liverman.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Minnie F. Liverman of Ahoskie, NC; daughter, Elaine Liverman Evans of Ahoskie, NC; son, Allen Felton Liverman of Ahoskie, NC; two half-brothers, Roger E. Liverman and Donald R. Liverman; grandson, Scotty Allen Liverman and his wife, Crystal of Aulander, NC; two granddaughters, Holly L. Miller and her husband Nelson of Ahoskie, NC, and Ashley M. Revelle and her husband Allen of Ahoskie, NC; two great-grandsons, Peyton Liverman of Ahoskie, NC and Grayson Revelle of Ahoskie, NC; and three great-granddaughters, Chloe Holloman of Ahoskie, NC, Olivia Revelle of Ahoskie, NC and Victoria Revelle of Ahoskie, NC; .

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens of Ahoskie, NC.
