VANCEBORO – Reverend Rachael M. Whitney, 68 of Vanceboro, formerly of Ahoskie, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Carolina East Medical, New Bern. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Greater Faith Nondenominational Church. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 6 in the Chapman Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Vanceboro. Christian Brothers Funeral Home, Kinston, is handling the arrangements.
