GATESVILLE – Herman Wayne Greene, Jr., 59, of Main Street, Gatesville, a native of Hertford County, died Saturday, May 10, 2014 as the result of a boating accident on the Chowan River. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014 in Oak Grove Christian Church Cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling the arrangements.
