OMAHA, NE – James T. “Bubble” Archer Sr., 76, of Omaha, Nebraska, a native of Winton, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014.

James served in the US Air Force from 1957-1980.  He served in Civil Service from 1981-2006 for the US Air Force.

He was preceded in death by parents, Linwood and Sadie Archer; and a brother, Linwood Archer Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sylvia Archer; children, Karla (Garen) Wright, and James Jr. (Kandi) Archer; his siblings, Roger (Paige) Archer of Virginia,   Horace (Paula) Archer of Vermont, and Larry (Barbara) Archer, Fay (Earl) Heath, Maggie (Donald) Anthony, and Barbara (James) Manley, all of North Carolina; brothers-in-law, James, Lee, and Joe Rogers; sisters-in-law, Ella Jean (Johnny) Rogers, Betty (Ed) Mayhue, Joyce (Lenwood Jr.) Archer, and Clara (Ollie Sr.) Rogers; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. (with the family present after 6 p.m.) on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Braman Mortuary, 72 Street Chapel, Omaha, NE.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Robinson Memorial C.O.G.I.C., 2318 N. 26th Street, Omaha, NE. Interment will be in ForestLawnMemorial Park.
