FAYETTEVILLE – Reverend Robert McDonald Poulk, Sr., 89, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014.

He served in the United States Navy during WWII and spent 34 years as a Methodist minister.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Eure Poulk of the home; sons, Robert Poulk, Jr. and wife, Jean, of Delaware, Fletcher Poulk and wife, Daryl, of Morehead City, and Stephen Poulk and wife, Debbie, of Fayetteville; daughter, Patty Driggers and husband, Steve, of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
