WINDSOR – Robert “Bob” Arthur Street, 83, of 806 Robert Street, Windsor, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Vidant Bertie Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Norfolk, VA on August 26, 1930 to the late Strus and Rena Matthews Street and was predeceased by a brother, Rowland Street.

Bob was a member of Macedonia Christian Church and a retired foreman with C & P Telephone Company and a member of the C & P Pioneers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia Christian Church by the Rev. Greg Sexton.  A private burial will follow.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Twiddy Street of the home; sons, Curtis Street of Winterville and Cliff Street of Windsor; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29 from 1-2 p.m. at Macedonia Christian Church. Memorial gifts may be made to Macedonia Christian Church, 7640 US Hwy 17, Williamston, NC27892.
