AHOSKIE – Elizabeth Powell, 85, of Ahoskie, a native of Bertie County, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Creekside Care and Rehab Center, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the Chapel of Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, who is handling the arrangements. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Ahoskie.
