CONWAY – Margaret Ann (Megan) Gritman Tripp of 604 Terrace Lane, Conway, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 20, 2013. Born April 9, 1984, she suffered for many years with diabetes.
Megan is survived by her mother and step-father Cathy and Billy Custance of the home; and her father and step-mother, Doug and Judy Gritman of Nashville, Tennessee. She is also survived by a brother, Dale and his wife, Lacy, of Logansville, Georgia; grandmother, Dorie Jenkins of Ocala, Florida; Aunt Susan Rinker and Uncle Terry DeHaven; and a niece and nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Galatia Baptist Church, Seaboard, with the Rev. David Foster officiating.
Megan touched many people with her love for the Lord, always saying “God has a plan for me” and through her many people witnessed her passion for God. Even though she was blind, unable to walk alone and in much pain she knew that one day she would be whole again. Always by her side was her faithful dog, Buddy, who brought her much love.
We will celebrate Megan’s life knowing that now she is whole, seeing the beauty of Heaven, running the Streets of Gold and singing in the Heavenly Choir. She will be missed by many, but we take comfort knowing that one day we will be with her again.
Bridgers Funeral Home, Inc. in Conway is assisting the family.
