BELVIDERE – Myrtle Joyce Kight Cartwright, 87, of Puzzletown Road, Belvidere, a native of Gates County, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel, Hertford, who is handling the arrangements. A private burial will follow in the Cartwright Family Cemetery near the home.
