CHARLOTTE – Mr. Fenton Harris Griffith, 75, of Charlotte, died Friday, October 11, 2013, at the Harris Hospice Unit of Presbyterian Main. He was born February 13, 1938, son of the late Whitley and Alice Harris Griffith in Murfreesboro, NC.

Fenton was a 1960 graduate of West Point Academy. He was a loyal, honest and generous man and a supporter of both his daughters. He also loved attending his granddaughter’s soccer games.

Mr. Griffith is survived by his wife, Judy Donton Griffith; two daughters, Brenda Tillman and her fiancé, Coleman Burnett, and Lisa Morgan and her husband, Marcus; and granddaughters, Madison Tillman and Olivia Morgan, all of Charlotte. He is also survived by a brother, Luke Griffith, of Hendersonville, NC; and his beloved little pet, Bridget.
