EURE – Arlen Gerald Smith, 72, of Taylor Mill Road, Eure, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 in Eure Baptist Church, Eure. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling the arrangements.
