Deonta Kenyon Whitaker, 17, died Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Bertie County. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Bertie High School. Burial will follow in Bishop Family Cemetery.  Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
