GATESVILLE – Linda Faye Bryant Harrison, 66, of East Maple Street, Gatesville, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City.

Mrs. Harrison was born in Savannah, GA and was the daughter of the late Joe Brown and Gertrude Estelle Coward Bryant. A homemaker, she was a member of Upper Room Assembly in Gatesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Harrison; three sisters, Carolyn Wilkins, Naomi Barden, and Joanne Edwards; and two brothers, Joe and Ronnie Bryant.

Surviving are her daughter, Shari Miller and husband, Jim, of Hobbsville; a son, Nick Harrison and wife, Melissa, of Gatesville; a sister, Laverne Tvedt of Summerville, SC and a very special sister, Carroll Semones of Gates; two brothers, Herman Bryant of Walterboro, SC and Charlie Bryant of Gatesville; six grandchildren, Emily Truman, Ian Harrison, Mac and Harry Johnston, Molly Miller, and Kinley Harrison; a great-granddaughter, Breelyn Truman; and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 5 at 1:00 p.m. in Upper Room Assembly by Pastor Eric Earhart. Friends may join the family in the social hall immediately following the church service.

Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
