Mr. and Mrs. John McCollum Griffin of Lewiston Woodville and Mr. and Mrs. James Stanley Johnson of Wilmington announce the engagement of their daughter, Briley Marie Johnson, to Braxton Bragg Dawson Rascoe, Jr of Windsor. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Braxton Bragg Dawson Rascoe of Windsor. Miss Johnson is the granddaughter of the late Reverend and Mrs. Linwood E. Blackburn and Mr. and Mrs. L.J. Johnson of Wilson, the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Griffin Jr. of Lewiston Woodville, Mrs. David Marshall Moore and the late Mr. Moore of Wilmington. Mr. Rascoe is the grandson of Mrs. Eugene Spencer Stone and the late Mr. Stone of Rocky Mount and Mrs. John Peter Rascoe, Jr. and the late Mr. Rascoe of Hertford. A June wedding is planned at the home of the bride.
