COLERAIN – Linda Gray Perry, 64, of 102 North Academy Street, Colerain, died Wednesday November 14, 2012 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie.

She was born in Suffolk, VA on December 12, 1947 to the late Wallace Thomas and Virginia Parker Gary.  Linda was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Laurel, MD.  She was a retired school teacher with over 35 years of service in three states Louisiana, Maryland and North Carolina.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday November 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Perry Family Cemetery located in Wakelon. Rev. Robert Johnson will officiate.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Dr. Horace Randolph Perry, Jr. (Randy) of the home; brother, Wallace Thomas Gray, Jr. of Charlotte; and nieces Megan Perry Askew of Mt. Gould and Stephanie Clair Perry of Kill Devil Hills.

The family will receive friends following the service at 2309 45 North, Goose Pond (1 ½ miles from Colerain).  Memorial gifts may be made to your local animal shelter for homeless animals.
