AHOSKIE – Mrs. Brenda Evans Casper, age 60, died at Vidant Bertie Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.

Mrs. Casper was the daughter of the late Aileen Jones Evans and the late Robert Earl Evans. She married John Thomas “Bug” Casper on May 3, 1967, who preceded her in death in August of this year.  To this marriage was born three children.  Mrs. Casper worked as a homemaker devoting herself to the raising of the children and support of her husband.

She is survived by her daughters, Rose “Doodle” Casper of Ahoskie, and Sherry Brinkley and husband, Stephen, of Ahoskie; son, Chris Casper of Ahoskie; sisters, Jean Baker of Ahoskie, and Ruby Miller of Chesapeake, VA; and grandchildren, John Michael Harrell, Haley Casper, Brianna Brinkley and Courtney Brinkley. She was also predeceased by her sister, Julia Ann Killette; and brother, Earl Evans.

A graveside service will be held, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ahoskie Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Cockrell officiating.  The family will visit with friends following the service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, PO Box 972, Ahoskie, NC 27910 to aid the family of Brenda E. Casper in deferring cost of final expenses.
