Lawrence James Jr., 80, died Thursday, July 26, 2012. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Miles Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Washington, DC. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the James Cemetery, Ahoskie. Congleton Memorial Mortuary, Greenville, is handling the arrangements.
