Walter Nowell Jeffreys 76 passed away July 22, 2012 from natural causes.

He was born Dec. 7, 1935 and was raised as one of the original “Tunis boys.” Dad was a simple, hardworking, good man who will be greatly missed.

Walter is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jerrilyn Johnson Jeffreys from Winton; his son, Preston Ward and wife Christy; daughter, Melissa “Missy” Hargroves and husband David; daughter, Heather Nowell Glisson and husband Barry; and six grandchildren, Sara, Ross, Hannah, Macy, Adison, and Matthew.

A celebration of his life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on August 11, 2012 at the Winton Community Center. All of our family and friends are welcome.
