Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Vernon Garris of Ayden announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Clara Nicole Garris, to Joshua Bryant Vinson, son of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Wilson Vinson of Pendleton.  Nicole is a 2010 graduate ofEastCarolinaUniversitywith a Bachelor’s degree in special education.  She is employed with Pitt County Schools.  Josh is a 2009 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s degree in environmental health.  He is employed with Universal Leaf Tobacco Company, Inc. inWilson.  The couple will exchange wedding vows on August 11 at the Washington Civic Center in Washington,N.C.
