ROPER – Harriet E. Grimes, 91, of Roper, a native of Bertie County, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Mount Eprew Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Cofield Family Cemetery, Merry Hill. Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth, handled the arrangements.
