MOUNTAIN CITY, TN – Bettie Carolyn Eure Corley, age 64, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at her residence.

She was born on April 18, 1947 to the late James Cottie Eure and Dorothy Hall Eure. In addition to her parents, Bettie was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Eure.

Bettie enjoyed sports in general and loved the beach.  More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Bettie is survived by her husband, Hollis Corley; daughter and son-in-law, Audra and Brian Vannoy of Boone, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Heath and Jaime Corley of Williston, SC; sister, Diane Eure of Ahoskie, NC; grandchildren:  Griffin Corley, Sydney Corley, Abigail Corley and Brett Vannoy; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from the Veterans Administration National Cemetery, Mountain Home, Tennessee.  Rhonda Gailes will officiate.

Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.  Honorary Pallbearers are all of Bettie’s co-workers at the Johnson County Community Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Johnston Memorial Hospital Cancer Center, Attn:  Cancer Center, 16000 Johnston Memorial Drive, Abingdon, VA 24211.
