GATES – Bill Roger Phillips, Sr., 79, of 411 NC Hwy 37 North, Gates, died Friday, March 2, 2012 in Down East Health & Rehabilitation, Gatesville. A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Gatesville Baptist Church.  Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, handled the arrangements.
