WINDSOR- Mrs. Sarah Phelps Howell, 74, died Monday, February 6, 2012 at her home inWindsor.

Sarah is to be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and mema. The family wishes to thank Hospice for all their care and support.

She was preceded in death by her parents Russel W. and Carthinia Harrison Phelps.

Survivors include her daughters, Ann Branch, Betty Wolfe, Gloria Robinson and Lynn Hoggard all ofLewistonand Bonnie Hamson of Aulander; and her sons, Frankie Howell ofLouisburgand David Howell of Aulander.

Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and eight step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Ebeneezer Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Tim Parker officiating. Interment will follow in theHoggardMemorialCemetery.

The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Aulander on Tuesday, February 7 from 6-8 p.m.
