MILWAUKEE, WI. – Charles W. Parker Jr. of Milwaukee, WI died January 23, 2012 at the age of 89.

Born in Menola, NC on November 22, 1922, he was a resident of St. John’s on the Lake.

Parker was the husband of  Sophie Nash (nee Riddick) for 63 years; the father of Porter (Randolph) Hutto, Caroline (Jay) Robertson, Thomas (Elizabeth) Parker and Charles W. Parker, III; the grandfather of Lee Hutto, Charlie Hutto, Jared (Zuzana) Robertson, John Robertson, Dana Robertson, Hatton Parker and Ian Parker and the great grandfather of Molly and Ella Robertson.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles W. Parker Sr. and Minnie Louise Williamson Parker as well as his sister, Minnie Louise Parker Creech

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at St Mark’s Episcopal Church, 2618 N. Hackett Ave, (on the corner of Hackett and Belleview off of Downer Ave in Milwaukee).  A reception will follow the service.
