KELFORD – Bernice Spruill Holmes, 79, of  Governor’s Road, Kelford, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Lewiston. Burial was in the church cemetery. Wilder’s Funeral Home, Aulander, handled the arrangements.
