WINDSOR – Elbert Winford Cowan, 89, of Askewville Road, Windsor, died Sunday January 8, 2012 at Chowan Hospital, Edenton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday January 11, 2012 at Askewville Baptist Church. Burial, with military rites, will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor. Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, is handling the arrangements.
