TARBORO – Dr. Magerline Askew Lassiter, 62, of  West Johnston Street,  Tarboro, a native of Bertie County, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Heritage Hospital, Tarboro. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Metropolitan  Interdenominational  Church of God, Aulander. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Windsor. Wilder’s Funeral Home, Aulander, is handling the arrangements.
