VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Doris E. James, 94, of Virginia Beach, VA, a native of Hertford County, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, handled the arrangements.
