AHOSKIE – Keith Ford Lassiter, 52, of 112 Drive Inn Theatre Road, Ahoskie, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in his home.

Keith was born in Hertford County and was the son of Amy Allen Taylor of Petersburg, VA and Glenwood Ford Lassiter, Jr. of Aulander.  An automotive mechanic, he thoroughly enjoyed engine repair and all the challenges associated with it.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory D. Lassiter, Sr.; and a brother-in-law, Billy W. Ambrose.

In addition to his parents he is survived by four sisters, Patricia L. Hall (Barry D.) of Ahoskie, Karen L. Sharpe of Windsor, Kimberly L. Ambrose of Aulander and Kelly L. Wilson (Greg) of Rocky Mount; two brothers, Glen F. Lassiter, III (Nelda) of Windsor and Gene E. Lassiter (Michelle Jenkins) of Ahoskie; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Friends may join the family Saturday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville.
