SUFFOLK, Va. – Lucy Smith, 81, of Suffolk, VA, a native of Gates County, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at her residence on Gates Road.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Stoney Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Gates. Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Hunter’s Funeral Home, Gates, is handling the arrangements.
