CONWAY – Alvester Barber Sr., 77, of Uriah Martin Road, Conway, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Revelle Hill Baptist Church, Conway. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Wilder’s Funeral Home, Inc., Rich Square, is handling the arrangements.
