GATESVILLE – Jesse T. Matthews Sr., 79, of Gatesville died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA.  Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Matthews Family Cemetery.  Hunter’s Funeral Home, Gates, is handling the arrangements.
