EURE – William Earl White, age 69, of Eure passed away.  He was born on October 8, 1941 to the late Jesse E. White and Lizzie Jernigan White.

William, a construction welder with Metal Tech in Murfreesboro, was a Vietnam Army veteran.  He was a loving father, brother and granddad.  William will be missed by family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, William Carson White and wife, Mary, of Hertford; brother, J.T. White and wife, Alma, of Askewville; sisters, Ruth Cobb and husband, Henry, of Merry Hill, Joyce Bullock and husband, Gene, of Williamston and Frances Davis and husband, Teddy, of Ahoskie; grandchildren, Carson Anthony White and Angela Ledon Dean; and one great grandchild, Brianna Rose Dean.  William was predeceased by a brother, Marshall White.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Garrett-Jones Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to services.
