WINDSOR – Elizabeth Louise Bazemore Miller, 75, of the 20 block of South King Street, Windsor, died Thursday, September 1, 2011.
Immediate family will receive close friends and family at Walker Funeral Home in Windsor from 7-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2011. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 5, 2011 in Edgewood Cemetery by the Rev. J. N. Baggett.
Mrs. Miller was a member of Harrellsville Baptist Church, a former cutter of Ahoskie Manufacturing Company and June Day Manufacturing Company, a retired small business owner and craftivist.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alton Lee “Pudden” Miller; grandson, Zachary Lee Miller of Windsor; her parents, Edgar and Willie Temperance Overton Bazemore; and her siblings, Margraie, Thomas, Franklin and William Edgar Bazemore, all of Hertford County.
Survivors include her son, Norman Edgar Miller and wife, Dana, of Charleston SC; her daughter, Nancy Leigh Miller of Askewville; her grandchildren, Melinda Dawn “Mindy” Miller and Michael Allen Miller of Windsor; numerous sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and her K-9 companions, Shiva, Bobo and Snooky.
