PORTSMOUTH, Va. –  Hazel Gertrude Rawls Little walked through the gates of Heaven on Sunday, August 21, 2011.

She was born on June 2, 1927 in Aulander, North Carolina to a loving mother (Madie) and father (Ernest).

Hazel is survived by her devoted husband, Beldon Little; daughter, Lorraine Bisese and her husband, Butch; her daughter Beverly Turner; her grandson, Joseph A. “Tony” Bisese, II; her grandson, Franklin “Buddy” Turner and his wife, Mari; brother, Sherwood Rawls and his wife, Nora; two nieces, Lisa and Michelle; beloved friend, William E. Kass; and beloved friend, Laura M. Carini.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, August 24 at Pinecrest Baptist Church, Portsmouth, VA. Interment was in Aulander Cemetery, Aulander, NC.
