HARRELLSVILLE – Susan Futrell Parker, age 42, of Harrellsville died Wednesday, July 13, 2011. She was born December 24, 1968 in Coos Bay, Oregon to the late John B. Futrell and Jane Outland DeSomma.

She was a Registered Nurse for 15 years and worked for Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center. She was a loving Wife and Mother and loved by all of her patients. She was a member of Harrellsville Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service was held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Harrellsville Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Hall and Rev. Greg Hurdle officiated.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband John Carlton Parker of the home; her sons, James D. Cannette of Winton, Seth Parker and Jacob Parker of the home; her mother, Jane Outland Desomma and her husband, Mark, of Greenville; a sister, Erica Futrell Campbell of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandmother, Nettie Mae Futrell of Winton; her mother-in-law, Janice Parker of Winton; her sister-in-law, Julie Parker Dilday and her brother-in-law, James Dilday, both of Murfreesboro; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved pets, June Bug, Sparky, Maggie and Colt.
