ROXOBEL – Bessie L. Smith Williams, 93, of Governor’s Road, Roxobel, died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Sandy Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Roxobel. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Rich Square, is handling the arrangements.
