WINDSOR – Not much is known about an early-morning incident Sunday at Club 252 (formerly Disco 17) north of here.

Bertie County Sheriff John Holley said two people were cut and one shot in the hand shortly before 3 a.m.

“We have received some tips about what happened, but the entire incident is still under investigation,” Sheriff Holley said. “Unfortunately, we are getting to the point where clubs are just not a safe place to go.”

Sheriff Holley said he believes there are multiple suspects in the incident.
